ABOUT THE SHOP

Pizzella Picture Framing & Fine Art was opened in 2014 by local artist & framer, Michael Pizzella.  Michael has been custom framing and producing art of all kinds locally since 2005. 

Commissioned art and custom framing can only be purchased in the shop since consultation is easier to do in person.  But some of the prints and original art available in the shop can now be purchased and shipped from this website!  The site is still new so forgive us if there isn't that much inventory on the shop page.  There will be much more to come!

CUSTOM FRAMING

All custom framing is done in the shop with all conservation materials unless the client simply doesn't want it.  We specialize in all types of framing from simple framed and matted art and photos, to more intricate framing like floater frames and shadow boxes.  We frame photos, paintings, jerseys, t-shirts, diplomas, memorabilia, and just about anything else you can think of!

The cost of custom framing all depends on the type of frame (the moulding), the size of what is to be framed, the materials used (glazing, mats or fillets) and the intricacy of the job.

We use high quality wood moulding from ROMA MOULDING, LARSON JUHL, STUDIO, AMPF, ENGELSON, OMEGA MOULDING and CROSSROADS.  We always use conservation glass to insure your art or photos don't fade with U.V light.  

COMMISSIONED ART

 The shop owner and operator, Michael Pizzella can do commissioned artwork for you!   

Most clients prefer portraits of their pets, homes, cars or boats but keep in mind anything that you can imagine, he can create.  Michael usually paints with oil on canvas or wood but he also works with dry mediums.

Prices vary on the size, medium used, and intricacy of the art.
